- Which Charities Are Supported?

We currently support thefollowing Charities:

- How Does BlogRelief Make Money For Charity?

BlogRelief asks for a Donation from bloggers to include their blog on BlogRelief.com.  Whilst we do not mandate or set a minimum donation, we do encourage our members to donate.  We feel that an fair donation would be in the region of £10.00.  Donations are made to the charities directly via our JustGiving.com pages. 

Soon we are also going to add some affiliate marketing sections on the website to generate a little extra revenue for our charities.

- Is BlogRelief.com A Profit Making Website?

No, BlogRelief.com is not-for-profit. All money donated to BlogRelief.com will be given straight to our chosen charities (via JustGiving.com).

- Why will people visit BlogRelief.com?

BlogRelief.com categorises blogs into approximately 60 main categories and 300 sub-categories. Therefore, our Visitors can choose a category and see a wealth of information about that subject from a range of different blogs – and they can do this without having to visit each of these blogs independently. When a Visitor finds a blog of interest they can then visit that blog and subscribe to its Blog Feed. Bloggers will benefit because BlogRelief.com will send new traffic to their blog.

- Can Anyone Add Their Blog to BlogRelief.com?

Yes, but every blog submitted to BlogRelief.com is reviewed and either approved or rejected. Please register to view our guidelines in more detail.

- What Sort Of Blogs Are Appropriate For BlogRelief.com?

BlogRelief.com has 60 primary categories and 300 sub-categories. We are looking for any blogs that fit into these categories. Our Terms of Conditions (TOC) and guidelines state content that is not appropriate for BlogRelief.com.

- How Will BlogRelief.com Support Itself?

As all the donations are given to our chosen charities, we are looking for one or more business sponsors to help pay for site support, upkeep and maintenance.

- How Search Engine Friendly Is BlogReleif.com?

Our aim is to make BlogRelief.com as search engine friendly as possible using only ethical Search Engine Optimisation techniques.  Our tests, using IBP 11, show that we achieve the main search engine optimisation features.  However the most important aspect is the content - and that is something that is mostly under the control of our members.   For example, when registering a blog the blogger has the opportunity to fields such as title, description.  We make sure that each blog article page has the best meta description and keyword fields.

- Please support BlogRelief.com by adding a linkback from your website/blog

One of the best ways you can show your support to BlogRelief.com is to add a link from your website/Blog to BlogRelief.com - currently we have two different options, a small BlogRelief.com logo and a straight forward text link.
